Voter Login Guide

Enter your SCN number correctly exactly as it appears on the official voters list.
Ensure your email address and phone number on the voters list are correct, because your OTP will be sent by email and SMS.
If you do not see the OTP in your inbox, kindly check your spam/junk folder and also confirm your SMS messages.
Type the OTP carefully. You have only five attempts before the system temporarily restricts access.
If your access is restricted after failed OTP attempts, kindly wait 15 minutes before trying again.
For election integrity, avoid using the same device or network for multiple voters unless officially permitted.

Important: Keep your OTP confidential. ECNBA officials will never ask you to disclose your OTP after it has been sent to you.

Voter Privacy Notice

Please read this notice before proceeding to SCN verification.

This notice is provided in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023 and the voter’s right to be informed before personal data is processed.

The ECNBA Electronic Voting System processes voter information only for election authentication, eligibility verification, secure ballot submission, audit logging, support, and election integrity monitoring.

1. Data Controller and Processor

The Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association, ECNBA, is responsible for the election process. Mikrodigital Connect provides the technical voting platform and processes voter data only for authorised election purposes.

2. Personal Data Processed

Supreme Court Number, SCN, used for voter verification.
Name, branch and voter eligibility details from the official voters register.
Email address and phone number used for OTP delivery.
Voting session information, IP address, browser/device details, timestamps and audit logs.
Support messages submitted through the support centre, where applicable.

3. Purpose of Processing

To confirm that you are an eligible voter.
To send and verify your One-Time Password.
To prevent duplicate voting and unauthorised access.
To maintain audit trails, detect suspicious activity and protect election integrity.
To provide voter support and resolve election-related issues.

4. Lawful Basis

Processing is carried out because it is necessary for the conduct of the ECNBA election, verification of voter eligibility, compliance with election obligations, protection of electoral integrity, and secure administration of the voting platform.

5. Data Sharing

Your personal data may be accessed only by authorised ECNBA officials, approved election administrators, technical support personnel and service providers strictly where required for election administration, security monitoring, OTP delivery, audit, or lawful compliance.

6. Security Measures

HTTPS encrypted communication.
Multi-factor authentication using OTP.
Role-based access control.
Secure session management.
Audit logging and monitoring.
Controls against duplicate voting and unauthorised access.

7. Retention

Election records and audit logs will be retained only for the period required by ECNBA election administration, legal, audit, dispute-resolution and data-protection obligations. Personal data will not be retained longer than necessary.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law and election integrity requirements, you may have the right to request access, correction, restriction, objection, erasure where lawful, withdrawal of consent where consent applies, and to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

9. Important Confidentiality Notice

Keep your OTP confidential. ECNBA officials, candidates, observers and technical support personnel will never ask you to disclose your OTP or vote choice.
